It’s almost summertime, the shops are filled with breezy easy dresses, luxe swimwear and strappy sandals. This cues a thought for winter 2011, it’s probably the last thing on your mind but it’s the first thought for all the designers and magazines in Australia. It’s time to unveil what’s going to be happening for next winter. So while your lying on the beach soaking up the sun turn your attention to fur coats and leather jackets, it sounds impossible but no so when you’ve got Rachel Gilbert’s RTW collection for AW11 to lust over.

Rachel Gilbert, is an Australian designer with a reputation for constructing the perfect runway frock. Details, beading, quality fabrics and luxury do not go astray in any of Rachel’s gowns. Now there is a new way to think of Rachel and one that we are busting to tell you about. For AW11 Rachel has brought out a ready to wear line to sequin up your everyday in the fall. The AW11 ready to wear collection is full of Rachel’s signiture sequins and beadings but is played down for a daytime feel. Also in the collection expect to see terra-cotta leather, luxe furs, oversized tees and some seriously hot leggings.

Girls looking for 2011 high school formal dresses the AW11 is purrrfect for you too! Beautiful formal dresses to wow your formal date and all of your girlfriends (who doesn’t love that). I’m especially hot for the apricot detailed gown pictured below.
